The theory proposes that insects such as whiteflies, scales, mealybugs, thrips, beach flies, mosquitoes, etc. First, identify the plants they feed on using their visual cues through the insects' olfactory organs. They are attracted to any object that strongly reflects light in the 450-650 nm range. We see the leaf color as green, but the insects see them as shades of yellow or blue. The fresh leaves produce lighter shades of yellow and blue. Our Sticky Traps (Yellow, Blue, Black and Red) look like a mass of new foliage to attract the flying insects. All of our sticky trap foil colors produce a good reflection wavelength between 450nm and 650nm depending on the color of the foil. We glue the non-toxic adhesive 0.05 mm thick to 0.35 mm thick sheets of pure polypropylene (PP). The glue is specially formulated non-toxic / non-drying / waterproof a very good pressure sensitive adhesive that will keep even the smallest bugs firmly attached to the adhesive sheet. The adhesive foils are covered with an 80 g/m² silicone-coated release paper until they are used. I-Stick is best for pest control and monitoring when insects fail to develop resistance to pesticides.
Using I-Stick® can provide better assess your pest and helps in identifying and controlling pest invasions and outbreaks on your farm from the start. Many of these flying & sucking pests are also disease vectors/vectors, transmitting bacterial/viral diseases from one plant to another. So controlling their spread would result in several benefits for the farmer. A flat sheet of Plastic / Polymer or Paper Board on which a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive(PSA) coating is applied and covered by a thin release paper to prevent sticking to other surfaces.
Aphids, Jassids, Thrips, White flies and other flying & sucking pests. When the Sticky Trap sheet is hung in the fields, insects strike against the sheet while flying and stick on to the adhesive and get killed. Sticky Sheet Traps are excellent tools to monitor and control population of flying insects / sucking pests like White Flies, Jassids, Aphids and Thrips.

attract mostly leafhopper including Empoasca vitis, Blister Beetles , and Tuta absoluta and Apple codling moth.
Sticky traps are hung vertically on any stand with the help of wire or thread. At Least 15-20 number of traps are required per acre of area. Traps can be placed anywhere in between the crop field or along boundaries.
However, we must always place the traps above the canopy layer of the crop. GreenVictory® offer a wide variety of I-Stick® which use the coloured surfaces with gum layer for attracting targeted insects, although the use of Pheromone is also possible for attaining more catch.
I-Stick® is an efficient way to attract, trap and monitor insect problems. The trap is activated by removing the sheet of silicone paper covering the adhesive and will be active until the pheromone lure is exhausted, or until the trap is completely filled with insects.
